About Lakewood SummerFEST
Lakewood's SummerFEST is the South Sound's not-to-be-missed summer celebration with something fun for everyone. SummerFEST has it all: food trucks, beer gardens, live music, fire dancers, a pop-up skate park, a car show, a balloon glow, and interactive sports and arts for all ages. If you're coming in from out of town, we recommend reserving your stay early.
SummerFEST Maps
Ft. Steilacoom Park offers over 300 acres of trails, views, and fun. Get to know your way around the park, find parking, and check out the full slate of SummerFEST activities with these maps.
Food Food Food
11 am - 8:30 pm - SummerFEST food vendors serve up savory favorites, sweet treats, refreshing drinks, and local flavors all day long at Ft. Steilacoom Park.
Live Music
11 am - 8:30 pm - The SummerFEST stage features live music, cultural performances, energetic dance groups, and entertainment for all ages throughout the day.
Bombs Away Car Show
11 am - 4:30 pm - Classic cars, custom builds, hot rods, and vintage favorites fill SummerFEST with chrome, horsepower, and community spirit. Want to be a part of the car show? Pre-register here!
Hot Air Balloon Tethered Rides
12 pm - 7 pm - Seattle Ballooning brings tethered hot air balloon rides to SummerFEST for unforgettable views above Ft. Steilacoom Park. $20/adult and $10/child (4 - 12 years of age).
The 8-passenger tethered balloons go up 100ft in the air! Each ride lasts approximately 2–3 minutes and offers a breathtaking view from above. Rides are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are weather dependent—we can only operate in light winds for safety.
