BAIT A HOOK, CAST & REEL
Bring the kids for a day of fun and learning at American Lake Park. Young participants will learn how to bait a hook, cast, and reel in a lunker. Children ages 5-14 can participate. Children get to keep their fishing poles. Poles, bait, and bags for your fish are provided!
POLES, BAIT + BAGS PROVIDED
The Youth Fishing Event happens yearly at American Lake Park in collaboration with the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. A netted area near the beach is stocked with fish from our local hatcheries. Each kid is given their own pole to keep and enjoys a 45-minute teaching session. Additionally, bait and bags for caught fish are provided.
Only $5. Only children and youth may fish. Adults may only assist.
