You’ve just entered the heart of Lakewood's International District, known locally as “Koreatown” or “K-Town”, one of the most robust International Districts in Pierce County, influenced by Korean, Vietnamese, Latino and other cultures.
The influx of Korean and Vietnamese immigrants to Lakewood in the 1980s turned this strip on South Tacoma Way into a mini-mecca for delicious food from Korea, Vietnam, and other international cuisines.
